Calling professionals and practitioners experienced in Risk Assessment

CLIMAAX is launching a survey to create an inclusive and effective regional CRA framework. It also paves the way for the building of a Community of Practice.

CLIMAAX researchers invite you to participate in a survey which will help shaping an inclusive and effective CRA regional framework. The survey is intended for those who have been involved in preparing weather- and climate-related risk assessments. For this purpose, the consortium is seeking input and expertise to help shape a framework that not only includes general principles but also provides practical guidance for those conducting CRAs and reflects the collective knowledge of our community.

By means of this survey, we aim to learn how risk assessments are currently conducted across European regions, including best-practices and obstacles. This is also a first step in building a CLIMAAX Community of Practice, and we hope for your continued engagement and participation in upcoming activities and discussions. The survey is structured around the three main parts of the regional CRA Framework: principles, technical choices, and inclusive practices.

We do not expect you to be familiar with all the aspects addressed in the survey; feel free to skip any parts that are unfamiliar to you. If you are unable to complete the survey and/or you know of others who may be interested, we would greatly appreciate it if you could forward this email to them.

The survey may take approximately 20-30 minutes to complete, depending on the thoroughness of your response. Feel free to enter your answers in the language of your choice! Please note that your email contact will not be automatically collected. We will request your contact information only if you choose to become part of our Community of Practice. Rest assured, your name and contact details will not be published.
