Handbook

CLIMAAX provides a conceptual framework to assess increasing risks due to climate change. Identifying climate risks is a crucial step for designing adaptation strategies to increase regional resilience and improve local Risk Management Plans (RMPs) to meet the EU Mission: Adaptation to Climate Change objectives. The project addresses multiple hazards that are aggravated by climate change in the context of vulnerability and exposure through an embedded multi-risk Toolbox that is designed to be tailored by users to support regional to local implementation.

The CLIMAAX project has developed a methodological framework and a supporting toolbox. The software implementation of the combined framework and toolbox is known as the CLIMAAX digital handbook. This support page gives further information on the two parts of the handbook: the CLIMAAX Methodological Framework and the Technical implementation and user journeys of the CLIMAAX CRA toolbox.
