At the beginning of January 2026, the Municipality of Silistra completed a comprehensive desktop research phase covering municipal, regional, and national data on climate risks and vulnerable sectors. This work provided the analytical foundation for the ongoing multi-risk assessment within the CLIMAX project.

On 15 January 2026, a stakeholder workshop was held focusing on the practical application of the refined multi-risk assessment methodology. During the event, project findings were presented and discussed with participants, who actively contributed through questions, feedback, and exchange of perspectives on local climate challenges and adaptation solutions. Information about the workshop, including an announcement, photos, and presentation materials, was published on the municipality’s official website.
On 19 January 2026, the Municipality submitted the report on the multi-risk assessment results. Once approved, the report was made publicly available, ensuring transparency and accessibility for all stakeholders interested in local climate resilience planning.

In the next phase of the project, the Municipality of Silistra will organize an additional workshop dedicated to the presentation of Deliverable 3, followed by a final conference. At this closing event, the main results of the project will be presented to stakeholders and the wider public, consolidating the municipality’s commitment to climate adaptation and risk-informed planning.
