The CLIMAAX consortium is proud to announce that all the 32 Regions selected by the first Open Call started the execution of own Climate Risk Assessment.

On November 15, Marta Ellena (CMCC) gave insights from the project in a side event of this year’s Conference of the Parties.

As far as the second Open Call for Regions and Communities closed, the first insights are now available.

Recordings and slide decks of the webinars conceived to support Regions and Communities selected by the first FSTP Open Call in the execution of their Climate Risk Assessments are now available.

Watch their sessions and learn about the pilots’ main climate hazards, preliminary achievements and future steps paving the way for the 60 regions starting their FSTP projects in the coming weeks.

Within the new version of the Handbook, the Framework for climate risk assessment has been updated for increased clarity and user-friendliness. All workflows in the CLIMAAX Handbook have been improved and have been extended with documentation of methodology and datasets, and illustrative examples.

Researchers from CLIMAAX consortium participated in a parallel session of the virtual festival on September 20.

CLIMAAX researchers will give a poster presentation titled “Bridging the gap between climate data and policy makers: The CLIMAAX project example”.
