5th Forum for the EU Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change

5th Forum for the EU Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change

As climate impacts intensify across Europe, the Forum will spotlight practical and replicable adaptation solutions that are making a difference on the ground. The Forum will take place on 23-24 November in Dublin, Ireland, under the Irish Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

Participants will explore innovative tools being developed through Mission Projects to boost climate resilience, collaborate to co-design solutions tailored to their communities, and take advantage of rich networking opportunities to build partnerships across sectors and governance levels.

In workshop sessions, participants will learn together and co-create solutions to specific challenges affecting their regions and communities. The Forum will offer rich opportunities for networking and collaboration, bringing together stakeholders from across sectors and governance levels to share knowledge and build partnerships.

CLIMAAX will be featured during the morning workshop on 24 November (11:30-12:50 WET), with a presentation in the breakout room dedicated to Risk & Planning. Clare Lee and Eddie Meegan from Tipperary County Council will join CLIMAAX Project Coordinator Frederiek Sperna Weiland (Deltares) for the session.

CLIMAAX will also be represented at the exhibition area in the main networking and catering space at the venue. KPMG, which supported Tipperary County Council with part of its CLIMAAX work, will also be represented at the exhibition.
